Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the original donation date. Requests submitted after this period will be considered on a case-by-case basis, but approval is not guaranteed.

5. Processing Time

Once a refund request is approved, we will process the refund within 5-10 business days. The time for the refund to appear in your account depends on your bank or payment provider, typically 3-5 business days.

6. Refund Methods

Refunds will be processed using the same method as the original donation whenever possible:

  • Credit/Debit Card: Refunded to the original card
  • Bank Transfer: Refunded to the original account
  • Online Payment Platforms: Refunded through the same platform
  • Cash Donations: Refunded via bank transfer or check

7. Non-Refundable Donations

The following types of donations are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Donations made more than 30 days ago
  • Donations that have already been allocated to specific programs
  • Donations made through third-party fundraising platforms
  • Donations where the donor has already received tax benefits

8. Special Circumstances

In exceptional circumstances, we may consider refunds beyond our standard policy, including:

  • Medical emergencies affecting the donor
  • Financial hardship due to unforeseen circumstances
  • Legal requirements or court orders

9. Partial Refunds

In some cases, we may offer partial refunds if only a portion of the donation has been used for its intended purpose. The refund amount will be calculated based on the unused portion of the donation.

10. Processing Fees

Please note that processing fees charged by payment processors (typically 2-3% of the donation amount) are non-refundable. These fees are deducted from the refund amount.
